The trip started at noon on Friday, May 23 when school was out for the summer. It stalled with a bang when our Truck transmission blew up in Lincoln Illinois. Debbie and Jeff drove 150 miles and brought us another smaller Rent-A-Wreck Truck. We camped in our trailer overnight, then made it to the Grand Rapids Gym Meet by Saturday noon.
